Carlos Venturo was born in Lima Peru, where he began his ballet studies at the Asociacion Choreartium directed by Lucy Telge de Linder. He has danced with Ballet Municipal de Lima, David Taylor Dance Theatre, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble and most recently with Oakland Ballet, Amy Seiwert’s Im’ij-re, Mark Foehringer Dance Project and Dance Through Time. He also appeared as a guest artist with Lines Ballet in Alonzo King’s production of Igor Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring.
