Claire Schoellerman, a resident of Chino Hills, California, began her dance training at the age of 4 at All About Dance, where she studied ballet, jazz, tap, and acting. At the age of 7, she started training primarily in ballet at Inland Pacific Ballet. Claire has performed in many of IPB’s productions and recitals, including The Nutcracker, Cinderella, and Beauty and The Beast, Coppelia, and Sleeping Beauty. Some of her favorite roles to perform have been Pebbles in The Flintstones, the Leopard in Disney’s Tarzan the Musical, a Village Girl in Beauty and The Beast, the Blue Bird Pas de Deux as Princess Florine in Sleeping Beauty, and especially the role of Clara in IPB’s 2016 production of The Nutcracker. Claire placed top 24 in the junior division in the 2015 Youth American Grand Prix semifinals and has also attended many summer programs, including Inland Pacific Ballet Academy, The Rock School, American Ballet Theatre, and North Carolina School of the Arts. She also has had the privilege of being invited to a special workshop with American Ballet theatre in New York City this past year. As a senior in high school, Claire loves being onstage and looks forward to her future in dance.
