Chanel Tekin

Principal

Chanel began her ballet training at the age of three at Redlands Festival Ballet with Cecilia Herring. As a young student she performed in Don Quixote, Cinderella, and Paquita, attended summer intensive programs with the American Ballet Theatre, and competed annually in the Youth American Grand Prix. In 2010, Chanel joined Inland Pacific Ballet as an Apprentice and performed in The Nutcracker, Cinderella, and excerpts from Swan Lake and Dracula. In 2015, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance with an emphasis in ballet and modern dance at the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at the University of California, Irvine and earned a certification in Pilates. She studied and performed in the Department of Dance to further her knowledge of choreography, history, and theory while expanding on her technique and artistic style. Currently, she is an M.B.A student at University of Redlands School of Business. Chanel rejoined IPB in 2016 as a Demi-Soloist.
