
Inland Pacific Ballet Academy is now casting youth ages 6–18 for a stage adaptation of The Wizard of Oz, first created following the 1939 release of the famous MGM movie. The production is based on the story by Lyman Frank Baum that was one of the most successful novels in American literature. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz sold out instantly, became a cultural sensation, and sold over three million copies before entering the public domain in 1956.
Follow the yellow brick road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum's beloved tale, featuring the iconic musical score from the MGM film that includes include the songs Over The Rainbow, Munchkinland (Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead), If I Only Had A Brain/A Heart/The Nerve, We're Off To See The Wizard (Follow The Yellow Brick Road), The Jitterbug, and The Merry Old Land of Oz. This timeless tale, in which young Dorothy Gale travels from Kansas over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz, is a fantastical story of friendship and adventure that continues to thrill audiences worldwide.

Founded in 1991, The Inland Pacific Ballet Academy brings professional quality dance training and performing opportunities to students of all ages and levels of experience. Our staff of highly skilled professional instructors encourages each student to reach their full potential in a positive and disciplined working environment. This project is IPB Academy's Broadway Skills Program, a platform that allows youth to experience first-hand the professional elements of putting on musical theater performances.
